GP Referrals

Public referrals to The Coombe Women’s Health Service are received through HEALTHLINK or traditional post.

Referral letters should be addressed to:

The Coombe Women's Health Services include;

• General gynaecology

• Colposcopy & Cervical Check

• Gynaecology Oncology

• Outpatient Hysteroscopy

• Fertility Service

• Urogynaecology & Continence Service

• Endoscopy, including Enhanced Endometriosis Clinic

• GP-led Gynaecology Clinic

• Options in Pregnancy Clinic (Abortion Care Services) referral email options@coombe.ie (checked at 08:00 &15:00 Mon-Fri). For queries and advice regarding EMA please call the main hospital on 01 408 5200 and ask to be put through to the Options in Pregnancy phone line and our co-ordinator will call you back.

Validation

Every year we validate the gynaecology waiting list to ensure all those waiting still need an appointment. If we received no response from your patient, we will inform you that they are being removed from the waiting list. If you feel they should remain on the list, please contact us on 01 408 5417 or validation@coombe.ie. If your patients contact details change, please let us know.
